Marles Geist, RN, MSN, ARNP

Our Clinical Director, Marles Geist has served in the field of health care for over thirty years, both in the United States and the Middle East. During her nursing career she has worked as an educator, medical/surgical nurse giving bedside care, manager of an intensive care unit, and has been involved in many hospital based committees. She earned her Masters in Nursing and ARNP license in 1989 and has been providing primary care in both internal medicine and family practice clinics for over a decade. She brings with her an in-depth knowledge of diagnoses and treatment of diseases.

Over her many years of practice, she has also seen the impact of individual lifestyle on our general health and well-being, including our skin and how we age. She is certified in the administration of Botox and the multiple applications of laser and Intense Pulse Light devices.

Marles believes in empowering her clients to look and feel their best, from the inside out. As the Clinical Director of Emerge MediSpa, she is dedicated to providing a personalized approach to helping our clients meet their goals.

Alla Romanov, RN

Alla Romanov is a California registered nurse who has earned her RN degree in both Russia and the United States. She has worked in the field of aesthetics since 2007 and previously worked as a clinical nurse for fourteen years. Alla specializes in many aspects of medical skin care, ranging from injectable dermal fillers to a wide array of aesthetic laser treatments. In addition to her previous education she receives extensive continuous training monthly. Alla is passionate about helping each of her clients enhance their existing beauty and improve their self confidence.

Lori Campbell, Office Manager

Lori Campbell is Emerge Medi Spa’s office manager. Prior to moving to northern California in 2005 she was receiving medical aesthetic treatments in her home town of San Diego. After coming to San Jose Lori search for over a year to find a practitioner of Marles Geist’s caliber to continue her skin care. Lori was a patient of Emerge Medi Spa's for a year before becoming an employee. She has extensive knowledge of all procedures and products offered at Emerge and is more than happy to share her insight with every client.

Judy Yonai, RN

Judy Yonai comes to Emerge with 17 years of experience as a Stanford Nurse and 10 years of experience as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist.

For the last 5 years she has taught the art and science of injectable fillers to Nurses and Doctors throughout the Bay area, the U.S and the U.K. for a leading medical aesthetics company.

Judy brings a keen eye and soft touch to her treatments. The result is a subtle drama, a noticeable wow effect without shouting that you've had something done. She tastefully bridges the gap between what we see on the outside with the age we feel on the inside.

Her past experience as the Cosmetic Coordinator for the Dermatologic Surgery Department at Stanford provides the basis for expert consultations with our clients.

Desiree Van Leuvan, Front Desk

Desiree comes to Emerge with over 20 years of customer service experience. She prides herself in making sure the clients needs come first and great telephone skills. She has always enjoyed working with people in small office settings and is eager to learn more about the aesthetic field to better serve our clients here at Emerge Medi Spa.

On her off time she devotes herself to her family, friends and most of all her rescue pets that are like her children.
